Payment Methods

All payments for products and services purchased by the Buyer may be made exclusively using the methods available on the www.mengotti-online.com website. The use of the aforementioned methods does not incur any additional cost to the Buyer, except for cash on delivery, where applicable.

Payment or delivery methods other than those officially indicated on the website are not permitted.

1. Credit and Debit Cards

Cards from major international networks (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) are accepted. At the time of purchase, customers enter their card details into a secure electronic banking system managed directly by the appointed institution.

The credit card used will be charged upon completion of the order. Before submitting, the Buyer expressly confirms that the card belongs to them or that they are the rightful holder.

To protect the Buyer, the first order may only be processed following the usual security data verification between the relevant banking institutions. This process may cause a slight delay in the dispatch of the first shipment.

2. PayPal

By choosing PayPal as the payment method, the customer can pay for the order directly through their PayPal account, without having to enter their credit card number or other financial details on the store.

The Seller reserves the right to ship the goods exclusively to the address indicated on the PayPal-verified account. The amount charged to the PayPal account will include any bank fees governed by the terms of the customer's institution.

3. Apple Pay & Google Pay

Purchases can be completed quickly and completely securely through Apple Pay and Google Pay directly from compatible devices, using biometric digital authentication systems.

4. Alma Pay (Installment Payment)

By selecting Alma Pay, you will receive your order immediately and spread the payment over 2, 3, or 4 monthly installments. The Buyer acknowledges that the credit resulting from the installments will be assigned to related parties and their authorized assignees, and hereby gives their consent to such assignment.

5. Advance Bank Transfer (Method temporarily inactive)

When active, customers who choose bank transfer will receive a confirmation email containing the payment details; the ordered items will be reserved pending receipt of the funds. The customer is required to send proof of the bank transfer within 48 hours; if no confirmation is received, the order will be canceled.

6. Cash on Delivery (Method temporarily inactive)

Where available, payment in cash upon delivery is valid exclusively for shipments within Italian territory. The exact amount must be paid to the courier at the time of delivery.

If the package is not delivered due to reasons attributable to the Buyer (incorrect address, continuous absence, refusal of the parcel), cash on delivery may not be used again for subsequent orders. In the event of a subsequent return, the refund may be issued exclusively by bank transfer, provided the relevant details are supplied.

Transaction Security

All digital payments on mengotti-online.com are made through encrypted channels protected by an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate and virtual banking gateways compliant with the strictest PCI-DSS compliance standards.

Financial data and credit card numbers are managed directly by the banking institutions; Mengotti does not access or store your credit card information in any way.

To confirm the transaction, a confirmed purchase proposal will be generated via email, with the assignment of a specific order number, to be used for any contact with Customer Service (web@mengotti-online.com).
